Every Restoration Experience is Unique

Preservation of crafts and old workshop

My grandfather, L.D., played a significant role in shaping my passion for traditional craftsmanship. He taught me everything he knew about the techniques he used in his projects, and for that, I am forever grateful.

Although I lost touch with him during my college years, I still cherish the memories of our time together in the shop.

Sadly, he passed away during my final year of college, and to this day, I miss him greatly. But I am blessed to have this amazing shop, which serves as a constant reminder of his influence in my life.

I am honored to share with you my passion for traditional craftsmanship and my journey in restoring hand and treadle powered tools, small hand tools, and clothing from the early 1900’s.

In the last decade, I have dedicated myself to creating a workshop atmosphere that takes me back to a time where electricity was a luxury, hard work was necessary, and skilled hands were priceless.

Here, I challenge myself to restore tools and knives, feel the warmth and scent of the candles, and hone my skills without any power tools.
